Beyond the developer specification
Dubai Hills villas arrive with a modern shell and a thin control layer: conventional switches, wall thermostats that talk to nothing, and perhaps a motorised curtain or two. Owners usually come to us a year in, once the house has settled and the gaps are obvious. The right upgrade is not more gadgets — it is one properly programmed system over the lighting, climate and curtains that are already there, plus the audio, cameras and door entry the family actually uses.
Because the houses are finished and occupied, this is retrofit work: Control4's wireless lighting into the existing back boxes, a controller in a cupboard, VRF integrated through the manufacturer's gateway. Days on site, no chased walls.
Rescuing an underperforming install
A share of Dubai Hills homes were fitted by a contractor during the build or a first renovation, and the system has never quite worked. We audit those, fix the programming, replace only what is genuinely broken and put the house under Iconic Care™.
The platforms we usually propose here are Control4 and, for a finished villa, Lutron RadioRA 3; an underperforming installation goes through takeovers and rescues before anything is replaced.
