digital signage installation in Dubai

The right message on the right screen, on schedule.

Digital signage is any screen that talks to the people passing it: the welcome wall in a lobby, the window display on a retail street, the menu board above a counter, the panel at a meeting room door. We design, install and support all of it for offices, retail, hotels and public buildings across Dubai.

The hardware is half the job. Each screen needs a content source, a schedule, a network and someone to call when it goes dark. We handle all four, and we tie the signage to the building's lighting so a scene change and a content change happen together.

Who this is for

  • Reception and lobby screens in office towers, from one panel to a video wall
  • Retail window displays and shelf-edge screens on Dubai's high streets and in its malls
  • Wayfinding and directory screens in mixed-use developments, hotels and hospitals
  • Menu boards in cafés, food halls and hotel outlets
  • Meeting room scheduling panels at every door on an office floor
  • Sunlit atriums and glass-fronted spaces that need high-brightness panels

What MK Iconic does

How we deliver it

Survey the light and the sightline

Dubai light is the first problem. A glass atrium or a shop window facing the afternoon sun needs a high-brightness panel and the right finish, or the screen reads as a black mirror. We measure where people stand, how far away they are and how long they look, then pick the size and brightness to suit.

Specify, mount and connect

Commercial panels rated for continuous use, mounted to structure, with power and a network point concealed behind each one. Portrait or landscape, single or tiled into a wall. Every screen sits on its own VLAN and takes its content over the network, so there is no media stick to fall out.

Content, scheduling and lighting scenes

We set up the content management so your marketing or facilities team can change what plays, where and when, from a browser. Because the signage and the lighting both sit on the Crestron system, one scheduled scene can dim the lobby, change the wall and switch the menu boards from breakfast to lunch.

Scheduling panels and aftercare

At each meeting room we fit a Microsoft-certified Teams panel showing the room's name, its bookings and a colour bar visible down the corridor. After handover every screen sits on Iconic Care™ remote monitoring, and a fault reported by WhatsApp, email or phone is logged as a ticket.

The panel outside the door is signage too: it tells the corridor whether the room is free. We fit Microsoft-certified Teams panels matched to the room system inside: Crestron TSS-770-T and TSS-1070-T (7 inch and 10 inch) with Crestron Flex, Neat Pad with Neat rooms, Logitech Tap Scheduler with Logitech Rally, and Yealink RoomPanel with Yealink.

Each panel is powered over the network cable, mounts to glass or plasterboard, and shows the booking status in colour.

Best for: Office floors with several meeting rooms and a Microsoft Teams tenant

Lobby, retail and wayfinding screens

For a lobby, a retail window or a directory we specify commercial panels rated for the hours they run and the light they face, including high-brightness models for atriums and shop fronts. A narrow-bezel video wall gives a reception the scale one panel cannot.

Content is managed centrally and scheduled, so the lobby greets the morning, the window changes for the evening and the menu board follows the kitchen.

Best for: Receptions, retail, hotels, food halls and mixed-use developments

Questions

Digital signage: questions we get asked

Will a screen in a sunlit atrium or shop window be visible?

Only if it is specified for it. A standard panel in direct Dubai sun turns into a mirror. We use high-brightness commercial displays for atriums and window-facing positions, check the glass and the orientation, and sometimes recommend moving the screen a metre rather than doubling its brightness.

Who updates the content?

Your team does, from a browser. We set up the content management with your templates, the schedule and the user logins, and train the people who will run it.

Can the signage change with the lighting?

Yes. Where the building runs on Crestron, the lighting scenes and the signage schedule sit on the same system. An evening scene can dim the reception, change the wall and switch the menu boards in one step, from a touch screen or on the clock.
