Gardens, landscape lighting and the house within
Al Barari is defined by what is outside the house: gardens, water and green corridors that the architecture opens onto. Automation here has to respect that. Landscape and pathway lighting on sunset schedules and scenes, garden audio from Sonance in-ground speakers that disappear into the planting, pool and terrace control, and shading that manages the light coming through big glazing without closing the garden off.
Inside, the villas are large and individual: KNX or Control4 backbones, layered lighting designed with the interior designer, and climate zoned for rooms that open to the outside for much of the year.
Exterior engineering for Al Barari
Anything outdoors in Dubai has to survive heat, dust and irrigation. We specify IP-rated equipment, corrosion-resistant fixings and drainage-aware installation, and we put the outdoor zones on the same system as the house so one Goodnight closes the garden too.
Landscape and interior usually sit on KNX or Lutron HomeWorks, with Control4 for the audio-visual layer; villa automation explains how we engineer one backbone for both.
