The company

From Cheshire to the Gulf.

MK Iconic Solutions was founded in 2019 to do one thing properly: design, install and support the technology in exceptional homes and buildings so that it disappears into how people live. The first projects were in the north of England. The work that followed — an award winning London cinema, a Mayfair embassy upgraded to state-room standard on KNX, a sports club rescued end to end, and more than 250 properties — built the engineering discipline the Dubai office now runs on.

The same engineers. The same standards. Dubai is not a franchise or a reseller. It is the same company, with its own team on the ground, its own Control4 Diamond Dealer status for the UAE, and the same drawings-first method, in-house programming and Client Portal that every UK project gets.

The company is led by its founder, Mujtaba Khokhar, Global Director, who still sits in on the design of the larger projects. The strapline is deliberate: we think of ourselves as architects of the technology layer, working alongside the architect and the interior designer from the drawings stage rather than turning up when the walls are closed.

How we work

Drawings first

Every project starts with the plans: load schedules, single-line schematics, rack layouts. The technology is engineered into the building, not bolted on after the fit-out.

Programmed in-house

Nobody subcontracts your Control4, Lutron or KNX programming. The engineer who commissions the system is the one who supports it afterwards.

Documented for good

Equipment registers, network detail, credentials and service history live in the Client Portal, so the house is never captive to whoever installed it.

Supported for life

Iconic Care™: remote-first fixes, monitoring and one support team across the UK, UAE and USA. Most problems are solved before anyone at home notices.
