Why HomeWorks costs more per zone, and less to extend
On HomeWorks every lighting circuit runs back to a dimming panel, which means dedicated cabling, panel space and a processor built for hundreds of zones. That is the AED 3,200 – 6,400 a zone. In return the dimming is the best Lutron makes, the panels sit in the plant room where they can be serviced, and adding a zone later is a panel channel and a cable, not a new device on the wall. RadioRA 3 puts the dimmer in the back box and talks to it wirelessly, which is why it is AED 2,550 – 5,100 a zone and why it goes into a finished villa without chasing a wall.
Keypads: where the finish sets the price
A four-bedroom villa carries around 16 keypads and a six-bedroom villa 18. At AED 2,600 – 5,500 each on HomeWorks, the range you choose moves the total by tens of thousands: a standard finish at the bottom, Palladiom or Alisse in brushed metal at the top. Engraving is specified from the programme, so the words on the wall are what the button does, and it is the one part of the system your guests will touch.

Lutron shading joins the HomeWorks processor rather than needing its own. Roller blinds are AED 3,500 – 8,000 each with fabric, curtain tracks AED 4,500 – 9,500, and Palladiom's exposed hardware is priced at the top of that band because it is designed to be seen. A villa with 23 shaded openings has a shading line of AED 89,500 – 197,500, which is why we measure every opening before the number is final.
Already have Lutron? Reprogramming costs a fraction
If the house already runs HomeWorks or RadioRA 3 and the scenes, keypads or app no longer fit, the answer is programming, not hardware. Lost project files are rebuilt, keypads re-engraved, shades added to the existing processor. It is quoted after a short remote check and is usually a small fraction of the ranges above.
